SocialCamp is like a conference, but maybe more like a convention. It’s called an “unconference” (no cutsie lingo here, it’s really what they call it).
SocialCamp is about Social Media, Social Networking, and the community of people that use it.
What?
- Learn how to setup and use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social networks.
- Learn about producing blogs, photos, and videos for your organization.
- Meet some of the most wonderful 2.0 people in your community.
- There are different sessions all throughout the day with plenty of time in-between to mix with other people
Who?
SocialCamp is for the beginner and the novice wanting to learn and share about Social Media for themselves, their faith based, community based, or business organization (profit and non-profit).
When?
- SocialCamp is September 19th from 8:00 to 5:00 . Breakfast and Lunch included.
- Optional mixer the evening before. Time and location TBD
